Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to physiotherapy and related services provided by Joint Venture Physiotherapy, based at Flexspace Bolton (Lythgoe House), Manchester Road, Bolton, Greater Manchester, BL3 2NZ. You can contact us by phone on 07586 605462 or by email at Jointventurephysiotherapy@gmail.com.

By booking an appointment with us, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully and ask us if anything is unclear.

Appointments can be booked online, by phone or by email. No GP referral is required for private physiotherapy. When you book, you are responsible for providing accurate contact details and relevant medical information so that we can deliver safe, appropriate care.

We will do our best to see you at your scheduled time. If we need to rearrange your appointment, we will give you as much notice as possible and offer an alternative.

Current fees for each service are shown on our pricing page and service pages. Payment is due at the time of your appointment unless agreed otherwise in advance. [TO CONFIRM: accepted payment methods.]

Private health insurance. If you are claiming through a private medical insurer, it is your responsibility to confirm your cover and obtain any required pre-authorisation before your appointment. If your insurer declines or only partially settles a claim, you remain responsible for any outstanding balance.

We ask that you give us [TO CONFIRM: e.g. 24 hours'] notice if you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, so that the slot can be offered to another patient.

Appointments cancelled with less than the required notice, or missed without notice, may be charged at [TO CONFIRM: e.g. the full session fee]. If you arrive late, we will do our best to see you, but your appointment may need to be shortened so as not to affect other patients, and the full fee will still apply.

To get the most from your treatment and to keep it safe, you agree to give us accurate and complete information about your health, medication and symptoms, to follow the advice and exercise programmes provided where you are able, and to tell us promptly about any change in your condition or any adverse reaction to treatment.

Physiotherapy outcomes vary from person to person and we cannot guarantee a specific result. Our clinician will explain the likely benefits and any risks of treatment so that you can give informed consent. You may decline or stop any treatment at any time.

We keep clinical records of your care and handle your personal and health information in line with our Privacy Policy.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you have paid for the service in question. [TO CONFIRM with the practice's insurer / adviser.]

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
